dadaroo,
My SMTP is smtp.telus.net
I'm not sure exactly how SMTP works, but it may be that you have to be
in a geographical region to make it go.
Alternatively, you would log on to you webmail and send messages via
the internet. That's what I usually have to do when traveling with the
laptop. If I'm on a (or near) Telus network I can send from the Mail
program. But even if I'm in Calgary (where it's "telusplanet" instead
of "telus") I'll get an error message and won't be able to send.
I highly recommend that you access your email via webmail.
Have you been to your blog yet?
Hope you are having fun!
Love,
Adrienne

I am tech support
It seems Dad is having some trouble sending email from his iPod. (See emails below.) Which makes me wonder: what is SMTP and how does it work?
